General FAQs
How do I RSVP to an event?
Just log into your Twitch account, find the event page, and hit that RSVP button. Don't forget to accept the MeetUps Events Code of Conduct, and then your RSVP ticket will be sent to your associated email upon submission.
Do meetup events have an entry fee?
Tickets for all Twitch Sydney community meetups are on the house. So, you can save those hard-earned dollarydoos for more important things, like snacks.
There aren't any RSVP tickets left, what can I do?
If RSVP ticket allocation is exhausted, throw your name on the waitlist. You might just get lucky as the event date creeps closer.
Are events strictly 18+?
Due to venue licencing laws, if the event is stated as an 18+ affair, it's strictly for the big kids only. Bring that ID because we'll be carding at the door – no exceptions!
Do you have to be a Twitch streamer to attend a meetup?
No, anyone in the streaming community is welcome. Whether you're a streamer rocking the virtual stage or just chilling in the audience, you're part of the crew.
What do I need to bring to a meetup event?
Don't leave home without the essentials: grab your trusty legal ID, and keep that RSVP ticket with the QR code on standby for a hassle-free check-in, and don't forget to pack your positive vibes for a party-ready attitude
